Filter RSS-feeds with YAHOO! Pipes and output JSON
I have a domain that I want to use for a simple page that displays only local news headlines but I’ve never found the time to code what I need, something that takes multiple RSS feeds, filters and combines them.
Enter YAHOO! Pipes. It couldn’t be easier to do what I wanted.
Trying it out, I wrote this JavaScript to output the news headlines etc. to an unordered list. Now I’ll just monitor the news for a week or so to see that my keywords really filter out the stuff I want to show up.
